The Military Vest is a Weapons category item. It increases the defense rating of survivors while scavenging, but the effects cannot be stacked by equiping multiple vests.
It can be scavenged from containers and obtained as a loot drop from dead bodies.
The Military Vest takes up 1 inventory space and cannot be stacked. If scavenging, the vest will automatically be equipped by the character upon looting.
Damaged Vest[]
If a Damaged Vest is obtained, then it can be repaired at the Advanced Metal Workshop to make a fully functional Military Vest.
